RKI GX-3R Confined Space 4 Gas Monitor
Short Description:
The RKI GX-3R is the world’s smallest 4-gas monitor, weighing only 3.52 ounces, and can be comfortably fixed in a worker’s breathing area (2.2″ W x 2.55″ H x 1, 02″ D).
RKI GX-3R Confined Space 4 Gas Monitor
The RKI GX-3R is the world’s smallest 4-gas monitor, weighing only 3.52 ounces, and can be comfortably fixed in a worker’s breathing area (2.2″ W x 2.55″ H x 1, 02″ D). It simultaneously monitors and displays LEL, O2, CO (hydrogen-compensated CO also available), and H2S combustibles.
The GX-3R represents the latest development in gas detection technology using a new generation of microsensors. The LEL sensor features a unique design with two active fibers in a single sensor for increased resistance to silicone contamination. If one filament becomes poisoned, a second filament takes over. The new O2 sensor is electrochemical with a lifespan of 3 to 5 years. H2S and CO are now available in a combined microsensor.
Safety managers will appreciate a non-compliance indicator. The device will flash 3 LEDs every 30 seconds under the following conditions; if the instrument has not been tested for gas if calibration is required, or if a gas alarm event has occurred. The 3 LEDs will continue to flash every 30 seconds until the non-compliance is resolved. The 30-second interval is adjustable.
