Class 1 Sound Level Meter SV 977D
The SV 977D is a Class 1 sound and vibration meter designed for measurements of building acoustics, industrial noise, and environmental noise. The meter is a successor to the SVAN 977A and features a new MK255 1/2″ microphone that offers a wide frequency range from 3 Hz and excellent long-term sensitivity stability. The SV 977D has an integrated Bluetooth® interface for wireless connection to smartphone apps such as the Building Acoustics Assistant, which expands the measurement functions for Building Acoustics.
A unique feature of the SV 977D is the ultrasonic measuring tape up to 40 kHz. The frequency range above 20 kHz is normally considered to be the ultrasonic band. Ultrasound is used in a number of industrial processes such as cleaning, drilling, or welding, as well as in hospitals for medical procedures. The SV-977D can be also used as the vibration level meter – simply by connecting a cable and a vibration sensor.
New generation-sound level meters
The new SV 973 Class 2 sound level meter and the SV 971A Class 1 sound level meter are two new generation models, compliant with the IEC 61672 standard, with reduced size and weight and better application compatibility thanks to mobile applications, its main feature.
