The TD500 D is the cheapest, most user-friendly, most accurate, and most repeatable soil water and oil analyzer on the market.

Turner Designs TD-500D is a portable fluorescence meter designed for the rapid detection of hydrocarbons in water. It uses a combination of fluorescence and absorption methods to detect petroleum-based products such as crude oil, diesel fuel, and hydraulic fluids.

The device works by emitting intense light at a specific wavelength and measuring the fluorescence response of the hydrocarbons in the water sample. The TD-500D can also measure absorbance, which is useful for detecting darker, denser hydrocarbons.
