Hasegawa HST-30 High and Special High Voltage Detector

Overview

The Hasegawa HST-30 is a high- and special-high-voltage detector designed to confirm the presence or absence of voltage on medium- to high-voltage circuits, whether bare or insulated. It is used by electricians, engineers and utility professionals working on distribution and sub-transmission equipment.

The HST-30 provides positive indication with a high-luminous flashing red LED and a distinct intermittent electronic buzzer, easy to perceive even in bright daylight and noisy locations. Its detector head angle is adjustable so the light emission is easy to see, and its tightly enclosed sensor prevents failure due to dirt, water and foreign objects. It detects AC voltage across a 3 kV to 34.5 kV range.
