Overview

The Megger EVCA210 Electric Vehicle Charge-Point Adaptor gives electrical contractors an easy-to-use tool for thoroughly testing Mode 3 AC electric vehicle charge points. Paired with a suitable multifunction tester, it simulates a vehicle connection so the charge point’s safety and operation can be verified to IEC/EN 61851-1 and IEC/HD 60364-7-722.

EVCA210 EV charge-point testing applications

The EVCA210 is used by electricians and EV installers to commission and periodically test AC charge points, checking protective earth, RCD operation and correct pilot signalling by simulating the various vehicle states and fault conditions. Its measuring ports let a multifunction tester carry out the required electrical safety tests on the charge point.
