Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 4105A is a digital earth resistance tester for testing power distribution lines, in-house wiring systems and electrical appliances. It measures earth resistance across 20, 200 and 2000 Ω ranges and also has an earth-voltage range for verifying stray voltage before testing. Built to safety standard IEC 61557 with dust- and drip-proof IP54 construction, it can be used even in adverse weather. A large, easy-to-read LCD, a simplified probe that combines an alligator clip and test bar, and a warning when the auxiliary earth-spike resistance exceeds the permissible limit make it fast and reliable in the field.
