Overview
The Megger SDRM202 is an accessory that enables both static and dynamic resistance measurement (SRM and DRM) on high-voltage circuit breakers when used with Megger’s TM1800, TM1700 or EGIL breaker analysers. It injects a high DC current across the breaker’s main contacts and measures the voltage drop during operation, calculating resistance as a function of time to expose wear on the arcing contacts.
Because the measurement is made during the breaker’s own operation, arcing-contact condition can be assessed without dismantling the breaker, saving substantial time in the field. Delivering up to 500 A DC and achieving 1% ±1 µΩ accuracy with the TM series, the SDRM202 is designed for high-voltage substation and industrial breaker maintenance.
