Karl Fischer reagents are not part of the kit. Megger’s datasheet notes that most routine tests use 100 ml of anode reagent and 5 ml of cathode reagent, and that one filling covers several tests.

• Are reagents included? No. Anode and cathode reagents for coulometric Karl Fischer titration are bought separately; Megger’s datasheet lists HYDRANAL Coulomat A and Coulomat CG.
• Can it test oils other than SG 0.875? The KF875 uses a preset method for SG 0.875 insulating oil. For samples from SG 0.60 to 1.40, or different sample sizes, Megger offers the KF-LAB model.
• How do results reach a PC? The KF875 prints every result and sends data over RS232 to Megger’s results-manager software; USB logging is a KF-LAB feature.
• How long does the battery take to recharge? Megger quotes about 14 hours after average use, for roughly 8 hours of running time.
