Megger PSI700A Phase Sequence Indicator

Overview

The Megger PSI700A is a simple, rugged phase sequence indicator used to determine the rotation direction of a three-phase supply. Using five indicator lamps – one for ABC (clockwise) rotation, one for CBA (counter-clockwise) and one for each of the A, B and C phases – it gives an unambiguous reading of phase sequence and confirms that all three phases are energised at once.

Because it is entirely passive, the PSI700A needs no batteries or external power and has no moving parts, so there is nothing to wear out or maintain. It operates across a wide 90–600 V range, identifies an open phase (only the affected lamp lights), and carries a CAT III 600 V safety rating, making it a dependable everyday tool for electricians and commissioning engineers.
