    The Extech MA640 is a versatile 600A True RMS autoranging AC/DC clamp meter designed to meet the needs of plant maintenance technicians, electrical troubleshooters, and DIY enthusiasts. This reliable test instrument offers exceptional performance and great value. Alongside its advanced multimeter and current measurement functions, it boasts a built-in non-contact voltage (NCV) detector for added convenience.

    The 600A rating and generous 1.5 inches (40mm) jaw opening can suit the majority of projects, swallowing conductors up to 750 MCM, whether you are taking amp readings in a demanding industrial environment or performing commercial electrical work. In order to replicate an analog display, a bargraph display is added to the 4-digit (6,000 count) reading on the huge, illuminated, dual display.

    You can operate the meter with one hand, having a thumb-dial selector that is ergonomically placed off the side of the meter. The heart of the MA640 is an advanced digital multimeter.
