The Megger MIT525 is a 5 kV diagnostic insulation resistance tester with on-board result storage and download, for testing high-voltage electrical apparatus such as cables, switchgear, motors, generators and transformers. Measuring up to 10 TΩ with a full suite of diagnostic tests, capacitance and leakage-current measurement, it is a rugged, portable instrument for utility and industrial test teams to EN 61557.

• Wide resistance range — measures 10 kΩ up to 10 TΩ at ±5% accuracy.

• Result storage & download — store results and download via USB with PowerDB Lite software.
• Capacitance & leakage current — 10 nF–50 µF capacitance and 0.01 nA–6 mA leakage-current measurement.
