PCE-IT55 Insulation meter
The PCE-IT55 is an insulation resistance tester or insulation meter used for measuring the insulation resistance of electrical systems and equipment. PCE IT55 is designed to assess the quality and safety of electrical insulation by measuring how well the insulation material resists the flow of electrical current.
This is important in ensuring the integrity of electrical systems, as poor insulation can lead to electrical faults, short circuits, and even electrical fires.
Product Overview
Insulation resistances up to 2000 M and auxiliary voltages up to 1000 V are measured using the insulation meter. The PCE IT55 insulation meter also incorporates the measurement of resistance up to a maximum of 200 k, as well as DC voltages up to 1000 V DC and AC voltages up to 750 V AC. For resistances less than 40, the insulation tester does a continuity measurement. A buzzer signal enables a speedy inspection.
