SATIR FSD-256 Smoke Detection

Overview

The SATIR FSD-256 is a thermal imaging camera purpose-built for early fire and smoke detection. Unlike a traditional smoke alarm that only reacts once smoke reaches a sensor, the FSD-256 continuously watches an area with a 256×192 thermal detector and a visible camera, allowing operators to actually see the beginning of a fire and intervene before it spreads.

Its dual thermal-and-visible design detects rising heat and hot spots at a distance, providing early warning that can prevent injuries, fatalities and costly downtime. With a rugged IP66 body and a wide -40 °C to +60 °C operating range, the FSD-256 is suited to warehouses, tunnels, waste facilities and other high-risk environments.
