The SATIR FSD-256 is a thermal imaging camera for fire smoke detection. It is a dual camera as it has an IR Detector with a resolution of 256 x 192 and a visible (digital) camera. The advantage of this type of smoke alarm camera compared to a traditional fire alarm is that you can see the start of a fire, which can lead to the early extinguishing of a fire, which can lead to fatalities and downtime.
