It combines the highest test voltage and resistance capability with a new colour display, the RE>Act and PIp diagnostic modes, selectable 1–6 mA output, Bluetooth logging and CertSuite Asset integration — ideal for the most demanding high-voltage insulation testing.

15 kV test capability — 1 kV, 2.5 kV, 5 kV, 10 kV and 15 kV plus user-defined voltages, measuring 10 kΩ to 30 TΩ.
Full diagnostic suite — IR, IR(t), DAR, PI, patented PIp predictor, DD, stepped voltage, ramp, RE>Act and PDC testing.
Selectable test current — user-selectable 1–6 mA output with enhanced noise rejection.
Capacitance & leakage — 10 nF–50 µF capacitance and 0.01 nA–6 mA leakage-current measurement.

Incredibly accurate and reliable instrument. The data logging and download capabilities save a ton of manual paperwork. It is quite heavy to lug around the plant, but that is to be expected for a rugged 15kV unit.

This is the industry standard for a reason. The high-voltage test leads and clips that come with the Megger MIT1525/2 Insulation Resistance Tester are heavy-duty and grip incredibly securely onto large busbars and switchgear.

Great tester, extremely capable. The automated testing sequences (like Step Voltage and Dielectric Discharge) save a lot of manual setup time. The heavy-duty clips are just a bit stiff to open when you’re wearing thick arc-flash gloves.
