Megger DET2/3 High Resolution Earth Tester

The Megger DET2/3 is a robust, compact automatic earth (ground) test instrument for measuring earth-electrode resistance and soil resistivity. Designed for large or complex earth systems — including communications earthing and difficult test environments — it supports testing to BS 7430, BS EN 62305 (lightning protection), BS EN 50122-1 (railway applications) and IEEE Std 81. Test frequency, test current and filtering can be adjusted quickly and easily so adverse conditions and interference can be overcome, and a high-resolution 1 mΩ measurement makes it ideal for demanding, low-resistance earthing installations.

1 mΩ resolution – auto-ranging 0.001 Ω to 20 kΩ for large, low-resistance earth systems.
Adjustable test frequency – 10–200 Hz in 0.5 Hz steps with automatic frequency selection to beat noise.
Powerful noise rejection – handles up to 50 V pk-pk interference with adjustable filtering and a diagnostic trace display.
2, 3 and 4-pole testing – electrode resistance and soil resistivity (Wenner/Schlumberger) measurements.
Colour touchscreen & storage – 5.25-inch daylight-viewable colour display, 500-record storage, USB download.
Rugged & portable – Li-ion battery (~10 h), IP54 (lid open) / IP65 (closed), 4.5 kg.
