The Megger DET4TC2 is a versatile 4-terminal earth tester built for ground resistance and soil resistivity measurement. It supports 2-pole, 3-pole and 4-pole tests plus the Attached Rod Technique (ART) and stakeless clamp measurements, covering a wide 0.01 Ω to 200 kΩ range. Rugged and weatherproof, it suits utilities, electrical contractors and geotechnical teams working on grounding systems.

DET4TC2 ground and soil resistivity applications

The DET4TC2 is used for earth-electrode commissioning, substation and lightning-protection ground testing, and Wenner soil resistivity surveys for grounding design. The ART and stakeless methods let engineers test installed electrodes without disconnecting them, making it ideal for maintenance of live grounding systems.
