Overview
The Kyoritsu KEW 6205 is a user-friendly handheld portable appliance tester (PAT) that makes test-and-tag procedures faster and simpler. It performs rapid 250 V and 500 V insulation testing and can also carry out open earth-leakage and load tests on devices rated up to 10 A. A 10 mA earth-leakage trigger and 30 mA RCD test capability ensure thorough, efficient checking, and a built-in isolating transformer lets it test portable (mobile) RCDs while reducing the risk of tripping the main building’s RCD at the same time. Battery operated with a clear PASS/FAIL result and a colour-status backlight, it is ideal for on-site appliance testing.
