The Megger OCR15D is a self-contained, mobile test set built specifically to verify the correct operation of automatic circuit reclosers. Rated at 15 kVA with a short-time overload capability to 45 kVA, it supplies a high test current of up to 2000 A, allowing engineers to inject realistic fault currents and confirm that reclosers trip and sequence as designed.
An autoranging electronic timing system with digital display and a full-colour touchscreen make the OCR15D straightforward to operate for minimum-trip, time-current characteristic, sequence and sectionalizer-lockout testing. It works with virtually all single-phase and three-phase direct-acting reclosers from major manufacturers, making it a versatile tool for utility protection and maintenance teams.
