Megger ODEN AT Primary Current Injection Test System

Overview

The Megger ODEN AT is a powerful primary current injection test system used to commission and maintain protective relays, circuit breakers, current transformers and ground-grid systems. A single unit supplies up to 1000 A continuously at 240 V — with much higher peak currents for short durations — and multiple current units can be connected in parallel to reach several thousand amps for the most demanding tests.

Its control unit combines a precise built-in timer with full measurement of output current, voltage and time, and it automatically calculates impedance, resistance, power factor, phase angle and CT turns ratio. Modular current units keep the system portable despite its high output, making the ODEN AT well suited to primary injection testing, breaker commissioning, ground-grid testing and recloser evaluation.
