Overview

The Megger ODEN AT is a modular primary current injection system for commissioning and maintaining protective relays, circuit breakers, current transformers and ground-grid systems. A single current unit supplies up to 1000 A continuously (much higher peak current for short durations), and up to three current units (S, X or H) can be series- or parallel-connected for several kiloamps — in some configurations short-duration output approaches 21 kA when source and impedance allow.

The control unit combines a precise built-in timer with true-RMS measurement of output current, voltage and time, and automatically calculates impedance, resistance, power factor, phase angle and CT turns ratio. Modular current units keep the system practical for substation primary injection, breaker commissioning, ground-grid checks and recloser evaluation across UAE and GCC sites.
