Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW MATE 2012RA is a pocket-size, heavy-duty True-RMS digital multimeter with a built-in open-jaw AC/DC current clamp. Its thin open jaws are perfect for clamping wires even in tight spaces, and it measures AC and DC current up to 120 A, AC and DC voltage up to 600 V, resistance to 60 MΩ, capacitance to 40 µF, frequency, diode and continuity (buzzer below 35 Ω). A 6000-count display with bar graph, data hold, auto/manual ranging and auto power-save round out a highly practical everyday instrument, and new rubber protection, a holster-fixable test probe and a test-lead cap improve durability and safety. It is rated CAT III 300 V / CAT II 600 V.
