Overview
The Megger DLRO10HD is a rugged, heavy-duty digital low resistance ohmmeter (DLRO) that measures very low resistances by passing a test current of up to 10 A through the item and using a four-terminal (Kelvin) connection to eliminate the effect of the test leads. It is used to check joints, bonds, connections, thick conductors and welds — anywhere a precise, repeatable low-resistance measurement is needed in rail, aircraft, industrial and utility work.
The DLRO10HD resolves down to 0.1 µΩ with an accuracy of ±0.2%, and its 10 A output makes it especially good at evaluating thick conductors, bonds and weld quality. Five test modes — normal, automatic, continuous, unidirectional and inductive — suit different jobs, including motors and generators. A key strength is its dual power: it runs from a rechargeable 6 V 7 Ah battery or directly from the mains, so it can be used for continuous testing. A clear multi-line backlit display, an IP65 (closed) / IP54 (in use) rating and a wide operating range make it dependable in the field.
