The Megger MCT105 is a compact transmitter-and-receiver cable locator that detects and traces cables, conductors and metallic pipes on live or dead circuits. Ideal for electricians and maintenance teams, it combines route tracing, fault location and non-contact voltage detection in a lightweight kit that fits easily into a tool bag.

• Cable & pipe tracing — locates and follows buried cables, conductors and metallic pipes on live or dead circuits.
• Tracing depth to ~2 m — approximately 0–2 m in single-pole mode (0–0.5 m double-pole) for route tracing.
• 125 kHz transmitter — injects a clear tracing signal, with an LCD and a 12–400 V working range.
• Non-contact voltage detection — detects external voltage up to 400 V AC/DC to depths of about 0.4 m.
• Fault & circuit identification — helps find breaks and shorts and identify individual circuits.
• Built-in torch — integrated receiver torch for working in dark or confined areas.
• Lightweight & portable — transmitter 130 g, receiver 180 g; runs on 2 × 9 V PP3 batteries.
• CAT III 300 V safety — rated to IEC EN 61010-1 CAT III 300 V.
