The Megger digiPHONE+2 is a shock-wave (surge) receiver for pinpointing underground cable faults using combined acoustic and electromagnetic methods. It listens for the acoustic discharge of a surge pulse while simultaneously detecting the magnetic pulse, then displays the time difference so the operator can walk directly to the fault position.
