Overview
The Hioki 3153 is an automatic insulation and withstanding (hipot) HiTester for production-line and quality-control electrical safety testing. It combines a 5.00 kV AC/DC withstand voltage test with a 50-1200 V DC insulation resistance test in one benchtop instrument, using digital voltage setting and window-comparison judgement for fast, repeatable pass/fail results. Programmable timers, voltage ramp control and GP-IB/RS-232C interfaces make it ideal for automated safety testing of appliances, components and equipment.
