How it Works

The Kehui T-L300 Cable and Pipe Locator uses a variable frequency transmitter that allows the detection of pipes and dead cables without interference from separate mains frequency utilities. The transmitter has several output options, including direct connection output, clamp coupling output, radiation output, and fault location booster (optional). The output frequency includes direct connection frequencies of 640 Hz, 1280 Hz, 10 kHz, 33 kHz, 82 kHz, and 197 kHz. The clamp coupling output frequency is 33 kHz. The receiver has a current direction measurement to avoid interference from adjacent cables and can measure depth greater than 10 meters.
