What maintenance engineers ask about the DLRO100XB:

• Is the DC clamp for DualGround included? No. DualGround needs the optional MCPD100L DC clamp (1005-622). It measures the current lost through the ground loop and the instrument compensates for it.
• Why test breakers at 100 A? Megger notes that ANSI/IEEE C37.09 recommends at least 100 A and IEC 62271-100 allows 50 A up to rated current, so 100 A satisfies both.
• XB or HB? Both store results, download over USB and support DualGround. The HB adds Bluetooth, PC remote control and asset tagging.
• Can it test transformer windings? No. Megger directs inductive winding tests to dedicated instruments such as TRAX.
