Features of the KMK8

  • Active Bridge: This feature enables high precision resistance (R) and capacitance (C) measurements, along with DC and AC fault location. It is particularly effective in environments with low interference voltages, allowing for more accurate fault detection.
  • Passive Wheatstone Bridge: For scenarios where interference voltages are high, the passive Wheatstone bridge configuration comes into play. This setup is designed to handle and accurately locate faults in such challenging environments.
  • Graaf Fault Locator: The KMK8 uses the Graaf method in conjunction with an active slave at the far end for precise fault location, especially effective on cables that are thoroughly water-soaked and exhibit high and intermittent interference voltages.
