The Megger MIT485/2 is a specialised telecommunications insulation tester that adds voltage measurement to the network-safe testing of the MIT481-2. With current-limited test voltages from 50 V to 500 V, insulation measurement to 100 GΩ and a built-in voltmeter to confirm circuits are dead before testing, it lets network technicians verify insulation safely on telecom lines and low-voltage circuits, to EN 61557.
