Kyoritsu KEW 3552 Digital Insulation / Continuity Tester

Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 3552 is a portable six-range digital insulation and continuity tester that adds diagnostic and data-logging capability to the popular 3551. It measures voltage, continuity and insulation resistance, offering six test voltages — 50, 100, 125, 250, 500 and 1000 V — up to 4 GΩ, plus PI (polarization index) and DAR (dielectric absorption ratio) diagnostics for assessing insulation condition over time. Auto-ranging continuity at 200 mA and AC/DC voltage measurement to 600 V round out the functions, while internal memory and a USB interface let results be stored and downloaded. It is built to IEC 61557 with IP40 protection and CAT IV 300 V / CAT III 600 V safety.
