Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 6024PV is a multifunction PV insulation and earth tester designed specifically for photovoltaic systems, delivering precise and dependable insulation-resistance measurements even while a solar panel is generating power — a critical capability for PV safety and performance. It provides dedicated PV insulation test voltages (500 and 1000 V) as well as general insulation voltages (250/500/1000 V) with ranges to 2000 MΩ, earth resistance measurement to 2000 Ω, and AC/DC voltage measurement with automatic detection. A memory function stores up to 1000 readings for download to a PC, a bar-graph display and auto-discharge with warnings aid safe operation, and rugged IP54 waterproof construction lets it work in rain and tough outdoor conditions. It is rated CAT IV 300 V / CAT III 600 V.
