Description
Introduction of Megger DET24C
The Megger DET24C digital earth clamp represents the latest generation of clamp-on resistance testers. These instruments introduce a test current into earth systems, measuring ground resistance in multi-ground installations without requiring ground disconnection. They provide industry-leading access, advanced features, user-friendly operation, and CAT IV 600 V safety protection.
The DET24C also features a true RMS AC measurement capability of up to 35 Amps. Its ability to measure current flowing through an earth cable adds an important safety dimension, particularly when the earth cable needs to be disconnected.
This clamp-on stakeless earth tester can also:
- Balance elements of the ground to mitigate noise
- Balance ground circuits
- Measure continuity of ground circuits in headends and hubs
