Megger SPI225 Smart Primary Injection Test System

Overview

The Megger SPI225 is a smart primary injection test system used to inject high currents into switchgear, protection systems and other equipment for commissioning and verification. It delivers up to 2000 A continuously and short-time currents to 4000 A, letting engineers prove the operation of low-voltage molded-case circuit breakers, current transformers, ground-fault protection and relays under realistic fault conditions.

Three continuously adjustable output ranges match the current and voltage to the device under test, while a high-precision timer and accurate current/voltage metering capture trip times and levels. The Smart Touch View Interface makes setup and operation straightforward, whether run manually or under PC control, and the compact, portable design keeps a powerful test set easy to transport.
