Overview
The Megger Teleflex VX-PT V2 is a high-performance, stand-alone cable fault prelocation reflectometer for use on low-, medium- and high-voltage cables. The “PT” (portable) configuration puts a full-featured Teleflex VX reflectometer into a self-contained field instrument, combining three-phase time-domain reflectometry with the advanced high-voltage methods needed to locate real cable faults.
It supports arc reflection (multishot, up to 15 traces per arc), impulse-current decoupling (ICE), decay, phase comparison and intermittent-fault location, plus partial-discharge detection. A measurement range up to 1280 km with 0.1 m resolution, 533 MHz sampling and 115 dB dynamic range (expandable with ProRange) resolves faults precisely. A large 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen with pie-chart navigation, Ethernet with TeamViewer remote access, USB export to MeggerBook Lite and an IP65 body make it a powerful, connected field tool.
