Fluke IRR2-BT Solar Irradiance Meter

This solar irradiance meter is both accurate and user-friendly, making it ideal for essential measurements in the installation, testing, maintenance, and reporting of solar panels or photovoltaic systems. Furthermore, it seamlessly integrates wirelessly with the SMFT-1000 solar multifunction PV analyzer, enabling instant determination of the I-V curve for tested panels.

Durable and portable, this irradiance meter features a high-contrast LCD screen that is easily readable even in direct sunlight, making it convenient to carry wherever you go. Thanks to its straightforward user interface and incorporated temperature sensor, it effortlessly complies with the IEC 62446-1 standard for testing, documenting, and maintaining photovoltaic systems. The built-in compass and inclination sensor also enable swift measurement and documentation of roof and site orientation, pitch, and panel tilt during surveys, installations, or adjustments.

Fluke IRR2-BT Features

  • Make the critical measurements needed for installing, testing, maintaining, and reporting on solar panels or photovoltaic systems with one easy-to-use tool.
  • High-precision mono-crystalline solar sensor: Instantaneous irradiance measurements up to 1400 W/m2
  • Two options for temperature measurement: Use the built-in temperature sensor or the external suction mount temperature probe to measure ambient and panel temperature.
  • Integrated compass: Measure and document roof or site orientation
  • Inclination sensor: Know roof and PV panel tilt when surveying, installing, or adjusting the installation
  • Mounting solution: Ensure proper irradiance measurements with solar panel mounting
