Mitotoyo company has released the model Mitutoyo 536-161, which can measure the thickness of the pipe up to the range of 0-150 mm with an accuracy of ± 0.05 mm.

The function of this caliper is that the main indicator rod enters the opening of the pipe.
Due to the round surface of the rod, it completely contacts the inner surface, so the gap is minimized, and the other jaw of the caliper is knife-shaped, which contacts the outer surface of the pipe from the outside. Therefore, the measurement becomes much more accurate.
