Hart 5947 Mini Metal-Cased Aluminum Cell
The Hart 5947 Mini Metal-Cased Aluminum Cell is a compact and durable aluminum cell designed for various industrial and laboratory applications. With its sturdy metal casing, this cell provides reliable protection for sensitive components housed within.
Mini cells make comparison unnecessary. The temperature of the reference cells is internally constant, so only the voltage measurements of the dip sensors need to be read. If you are installing industrial thermometers, thermometers or heaters and want the most accurate accuracy possible, these small units will deliver. If you need a wide temperature range, the cells cover three times a drop of water (0.01 °C) and every drop of ITS-90 from indium (156.5985 °C) to copper (1084.62 °C).
Fixed-points made simple
For small cells, inspection and maintenance is easy. TPW microcells can be automatically recognized and maintained with our maintenance kit 9210. It only takes five minutes to detect the triple point of water, but the ground level takes all day.
Inspection and maintenance of indium, tin, zinc and aluminum cells are also automated with the 9260 Mini Fixed Point Cell Furnace. Work with them on the specific freezing point or use the melting point to make the process easier. We have published a paper entitled “Comparison of Freezing and Melting Points of Tin” to help you understand and make the most simple use of the melting point of the standard
. These small units are made of the same material. and with the same process as their full counterparts. They can actually achieve the same level of uncertainty as conventional Hart cells. Nine-inch short probes are used for these units. The specification table gives the immersion depth and uncertainty of each unit.
In addition to the high accuracy of RTDs and PRTs, these units are perfect for checking the accuracy of SPRTs. If you compare SPRTs, you know how important it is to periodically check their accuracy between versions. Because these units are easy to use and maintain, inspection is simple and convenient.
Metal-cased cells
Metal-clad units can also be used in the maintenance furnace 9260. Because they use metal housings, these units are easy to use and carry without risk. You’ll notice that we’ve designed the metal cells deeper to provide better stability as well!
