The Schutz Messtechnik PGC portable gas chromatograph is an unmatched solution for distinguishing between natural gas, marsh gas, and propane. It is designed for simplicity in situ methane detection. There is no need for a second tracer or gas meter to use.

An instant printout of measurement results allows for complete documentation and comparison. With LCD display and measured values ​​directly displayed, it is also possible to operate without a printer. For simplicity of use, the gas chromatograph is also designed to be easily portable. The Schutz Messtechnik PGC is light and sturdy, making it easy to transport on-site.

Ethane is a component of natural gas; proof of this gas is also proof of natural gas. Extended gas analysis is often required to demonstrate with certainty that the measured gas concentration is in fact natural gas and not marsh gas. Because of the on-site gas sampling that must then be measured in a laboratory, the traditional process is difficult and time-consuming. These steps are completely eliminated with a portable gas chromatograph. They can be easily measured and sampled directly on site – no other gas measuring equipment is needed.
