The Fluke 772 milliamp process clamp meter is a specialized handheld instrument for measuring and troubleshooting milliamp signals, which are extensively used in industrial process control systems and automation. The Fluke 772 process clamp meter monitors, generates, and simulates 4-20 mA signals for testing control system I/O or IPs.

The Fluke 772 loop meter expands on the fundamental capabilities of the Fluke 771 to save time and increase its applications. You can also use the 771 to source and simulate 4-20 mA signals for testing control system I/O; measure 4-20 mA signals using in-circuit measurement; power a transmitter with the 24 V loop power supply; and automatically ramp and step change the 4-20 mA output for remote testing.

You can test 4-20 mA signals five times faster and without breaking the loop than with typical DMMs. That means you can troubleshoot a live device without turning it off, saving you time and preventing you from missing something important.
