Overview

The Kyoritsu KEW 1110 is a rugged general-purpose analogue multimeter built for reliable everyday electrical testing and troubleshooting. Its needle display gives an intuitive, at-a-glance indication of changing values that many technicians prefer for spotting trends and fluctuations, while a tough, 1 m drop-proof housing and 600 V fused protection make it dependable in demanding field conditions.

The KEW 1110 measures DC voltage from 0.3 V to 600 V with a high 20 kΩ/V sensitivity (making it suitable even for low-level electronic signals), AC voltage from 12 V to 600 V, DC current on 60 µA, 30 mA and 300 mA ranges, and resistance up to 300 kΩ. Useful extras include a continuity buzzer that sounds below 100 Ω, a 1.5 V battery-check range and an LED check function. It is rated to CAT III 300 V / CAT II 600 V and runs from two AA batteries.
