Overview

The Megger MTO250 is a powerful dual-channel transformer ohmmeter that supplies up to 50 A of DC test current, allowing large power transformers to be saturated and measured quickly. It reads winding resistance from 10 µΩ to 2,000 Ω with high ±0.1% accuracy, giving engineers dependable results for commissioning, maintenance and fault diagnosis.

Two independent channels enable simultaneous measurement of two windings, cutting test time by 50% or more compared with single-channel instruments. The MTO250 is well suited to winding resistance tests, on-load tap-changer evaluation, heat-run testing and checking motors and generators, making it a versatile substation and workshop instrument.
