The 9142, 9143, and 9144 Field Probes extend high performance to the industrial process environment by maximizing portability, speed, and functionality without sacrificing measurement performance.

Field probes are feature-packed and remarkably easy to use. They’re light, small, and reach temperature setpoints quickly, yet are stable, consistent, and accurate.

These industrial temperature loop calibrators are perfect for performing transmitter loop calibrations, comparison calibrations, or simple thermocouple sensor testing. With the “Process” option, no additional tools need to be brought into the field.

Dual channel readout reads resistance, voltage, and current from 4 to 20mA with 24-volt loop power. It also has built-in automation and documentation. Together the three models (9142, 9143, and 9144, each with a “Process” option) cover a wide range from -25 °C to 660 °C.

Field probes are designed for the industrial process environment and are brought up to temperature quickly. They weigh less than 8.2 kg and take up little space, making them easy to transport. Field environmental conditions are often unstable with large temperature swings.

Each field probe has built-in temperature gradient compensation (patent pending) that adjusts control characteristics to ensure stable performance in unstable environments. In fact, all specifications are guaranteed in the ambient range of 13°C to 33°C.
