Mitech MFD660C Ultrasonic Flaw Detector

Product Overview

Mitech spent years painstakingly developing the Mitech MFD660C intelligent digital ultrasonic defect detector, a premium product with several benefits including a distinctive design, superior production, easy operation, and potent function. Since its start, it has enjoyed the affection of its clients. It can quickly and reliably test, orient, analyze, and diagnose a variety of faults, including cracks, grease, and air holes in the inside of the workpiece.

Function & application

The device has a wide range of applications, including the detection and size of concealed cracks, voids, disbands, and other discontinuities in welds, forgings, billets, axles, shafts, tanks, pressure vessels, turbines, and structural elements.

Working Principle

1:When a flaw appears in a workpiece made of homogeneous material, the defect will reveal the interface between the defect and the workpiece’s other media. The pulsating ultrasonic wave will create reflection when it comes into contact with the interface because the acoustic resistance is different there. The probe will take in the energy that has been reflected.

2:The fault depth in the workpiece will then be represented by a reflection waveform at a specific abscissa point on the display screen. Different faults would result in varying heights and shapes of reflected waves, which would represent the characteristics of each defect.

Working Conditions

  • Operating Temperature: -10℃ to 50℃;
  • Storage Temperature:-30℃ to 50℃
  • Avoid environments that vibrate, have a high magnetic field, are corrosive, or have a lot of dust.
